Pioneer Launches Four AV Receivers
Industry’s first AV Receivers designed for the iPad delivering an intuitive user experience
SINGAPORE - Pioneer today officially launched its latest line of AV Receivers designed for today’s connected lifestyle. The four new Pioneer 5.1 and 7.1-channel AV Receivers - VSX-521, VSX-821, VSX-921 and VSX-1021 - offer unparalleled performance, advanced technologies and an exciting host of features.
All of Pioneer’s 2011 Receiver models offer state-of-the-art functionality, with the VSX-921 and VSX-1021 equipped with Apple’s AirPlay and Made for iPad, Air Jam, DLNA 1.5 and Internet Radio. Custom apps like the iControlAV2, developed by Pioneer for Apple devices, allow users of VSX-921 and VSX-1021 to control the operations of the Receiver conveniently through their iPhone, iPad and iPod. Furthermore, the VSX-1021 is the first AV receiver to feature its new AVNavigator setup PC software application, designed to simplify the physical and software setup of the receiver. Delivering an elevated audio experience - from the user interface, the setup process, to the product functionality - each receiver delivers an intuitive user experience that everyone in the home can easily enjoy.
Pioneer’s newest receivers are ready for the latest display technologies, with each model featuring HDMI 1.4a support and ready to pass 3D content from a Blu-ray 3D player or 3D cable or satellite broadcast to any compatible display. All models also support the HDMI 1.4a Audio Return Channel (ARC) that allows a TV with built-in tuner to send audio data “upstream” to the AV receiver via HDMI – so there’s no need for a separate audio cable.
All models are finished in a stylish black hairline finish front fascia and will be available at all Pioneer authorized retail outlets from end June onwards. The Pioneer VSX-521, VSX-821, VSX-921 and VSX-1021 are available at a suggested retail price of S$399, S$599, S$899 and S$1,099 respectively.
