Pictures and Specs of Acer Iconia Tab A700 Leaked

Russian site Nomobile.ru appears to have a prototype of Acer's first quad-core tablet, the Iconia Tab A700. It also claimed that Acer will be presenting the tablet at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 next month.

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 is reported to have the following specifications:

  • NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor
  • 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels
  • microSD card support
  • micro-HDMI port
  • microUSB port
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • SIM slot for 3G support
  • 5-megapixel rear camera with flash
  • 650g
  • 9800mAh battery

As it is a non-functional unit, the site is unable to determine whether the Acer Iconia Tab A700 is running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. From an earlier report by DigiTimes on Acer launching quad-core tablets in Q1 2012, it is likely that we would be seeing Android 4.0 in action on the A700.
