LG is rumored to be launching a bigger variant of the G4 next month and photos of the device have been leaked.

According to South Korean media outlets, the LG G4 Pro will be officially announced on 10th October with design traits and specs similar to the G4 smartphone. Contrary to earlier reports of a metal design, LG has opted for a plastic chassis so that it can have a removable battery which has become a key selling feature of the G4 against other Android flagship smartphone such as the Galaxy S6 which come with non-removable batteries.

Chinese agency TENAA apparently leaked the photos of the device, which shows a metallic frame with a removable back cover. The G4 Pro seems to have a flat chassis unlike the curved designs of the G4 and G Flex 2.

The G4 Pro reportedly will have a 6-inch Quad-HD display, 32GB internal storage with microSD expansion, 4GB RAM, a fingerprint sensor and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera. It is more likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor instead of the Snapdragon 820 chipset as the latter will not be ready.
