Philips Amplifies with its 2011 Range of TVs

Philips expands its range of TVs with the Cinema 21:9 Gold series Smart LED TV.

The Philips Cinema 21:9 TV offers an ideal screen size for TV and movie buffs, making use of its formatting technology to display films in their authentic 21:9 format. Users can multi-task by splitting the screen and watch sports on the left, while browsing the Internet on the right. On top of this, a special feature of the Cinema 21:9 Gold series TV allows each user to concurrently see his view expand to fill the entire TV screen when dual gaming with Easy 3D is activated on his TV.

3D Max is a new technology engineered to allow users to convert their 2D pictures into 3D and control the amount of depth they want added to the picture, with Full HD resolution and 180-degree viewing to provide sharp images. It is integrated across the Philips 9000, 8000, and 7000 series Smart LED TVs. 50% less energy is used, with the Full HD LED Pro technology, with over 1000 LEDs operating selectively in the display backlight.
