Announced in March and given the preview treatment from us at the same time, the new Micro Four Thirds cameras from Panasonic has just been given both a price tag and an estimated availability date. So for those of you who are eager to get their hands on the new Panasonic Lumix G2 and G10, you can expect them anytime soon in late May 2010 at a price of US$799.95 and US$599.95 respectively.
Engadget - Panasonic already outed its new Lumix G2 and G10 Micro Four Thirds cameras back in March, but it's just now finally gotten official with the pricing and availability for them. While there's still no word on an exact release date, both cameras are now slated to be available in "late-May," with the G2 running $799.95 in your choice of red, blue or black, while the black-only G10 will set you back $599.95.
Looking at the G10's pricing, it'll be a toss-up between that, and Olympus' own affordable Micro Four Thirds, the Olympus E-PL1. Check out the full press release over here.
