Panasonic Announces Smart Network 3D Blu-ray Disc Home Theater Systems

At CES 2014, Panasonic introduced two new Smart Network Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc Home Theater Systems which aim to deliver high-resolution 3D images and lifelike surround sound.

Incorporating Panasonic's Full HD 3D image reproduction technology, the SC-BTT465 is equipped with tall-boy front speakers, satellite speakers for surround sound and a bass-reflex type subwoofer, while the BTT405 uses satellite speakers for the front and surround, and a bass-reflex type subwoofer. The 5.1-channel Rich Surround System with Powerful Bass-Reflex Subwoofer reproduces sound, from Blu-ray Disc media through five speakers that are designed to surround the user’s viewing position and a bass-reflex type subwoofer that achieves rich bass.

Supporting popular Internet applications including YouTube, Netflix, and CinemaNow, both models have built-in NFC capability, so you can pair your smartphone with the device via Bluetooth. Simply wave your smartphone over the One-touch Connection mark on the main unit to establish a connection to play their music. Also, an optional wireless adapter can establish a wireless connection to a home network.

The new SC-BTT465 and SC-BTT405 will be available later this year at www.shop.panasonic.com and select retailers.
