Microsoft has announced that it's adding Google Calendar and Google Contacts support to the Outlook 2016 app for Mac.

For those unaware, while Outlook for Mac has long supported Gmail, you aren’t able to sync with Google calendars and contacts. (Wut?!)

According to Microsoft, core actions such as add, delete, edit time and location are supported, and all changes made will update back and forth with Gmail or Outlook for iOS and Android, and sync up with all your devices. The updated Outlook 2016 for Mac will even support unique Outlook features such as Focused Inbox and rich inbox experiences for travel reservations and package delivery, with more advanced features to come at a later date.

That being said, the new features aren't generally available yet. But you can try them out if you're a Mac user in the Office Insider Fast program. Here’s how you can join the program.
