Otterbox's uniVERSE case transforms the iPhone into a modular device
iPhone users who fancy the modular design of the LG G5 can now achieve the same feat via Otterbox's latest case.
Known as the unIVERSE case, it has a slot at the back where you can slide in compatible accessories. Otterbox has partnered with other third-party accessory makers such as SanDisk, Olloclip and PolarPro to offer additional storage, payment processing, camera and battery enhancements.
Like the G5, each of the accessory module is sold separately. At launch, the unIVERSE case is available in black and white for the iPhone 6/6s/6 Plus/6s Plus. You can purchase the case and the modular accessories from Otterbox, Amazon and BestBuy from 29th May. Below are some of the estimated prices for the cases and accessories:
- Case for the iPhone 6/6s - US$50 (~S$69)
- Case for the iPhone 6 Plus/6s Plus - US$60 (~S$83)
- Olloclip 4-in-1 lens - US$79.99 (~S$110)
- SanDisk iXpand™ Flash Drive (32/64/128GB) - from US$59.99 (~S$83)
- PolarPro Trippler Tripod - US$49.99 (~S$69)
