Oppo N3's swiveling motorized 16MP camera takes selfies to the next level

Oppo unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the N3, today. Taking the swiveling camera feature from last year's N1 a step further, the 5.5-inch N3 boasts a 16MP, f/2.2 swiveling camera that rotates automatically with a flick of the screen.

The swiveling camera feature gives the Oppo N3 the highest resolution front-facing camera on the market today. The automatic swivel function will also come in handy for those who enjoy taking panorama shots as you will no longer need to pan the camera yourself, just hold the phone and turn the panorama mode on and the camera will rotate to capture the entire scene.

Specs-wise, the N3 is comparable to other flagship devices, boasting a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.3GHz processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The N3 is fitted with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, and will be armed with a 3000mAh battery. One of the other features Oppo has included on the N3 is its VOOC rapid charging technology, which Oppo claims will charge the phone from 0 to 75 percent in just 30 minutes.

The N3 will sell for USD$649. Unfortunately availability and local pricing is not available at this time.
