Opera Mini Heads to Samsung Smart Devices

Surf, discover and experience the web with the Opera Mini mobile web browser, which is now available in Samsung Apps - Samsung's dedicated application store. Users with smart devices on bada and Android OS can now download the free web browser from the store, as well as via Kies on the PC or www.samsungapps.com.

"We want to make Opera Mini available everywhere to everyone," said Erick Lee, Vice President of Sales and Opera Software Country Manager for Korea. "Head over to Samsung Apps and download Opera Mini, and I promise you’ll never look back."

Founded in 1994, Opera has over 250 million users across computers, mobile phones, TVs and other devices. Among them are 168 million Opera Mini users, who have used the program to speed up their web browsing, as well as drastically reduce the cost of their mobile data spending. This is thanks to Opera Mini's heavy-duty server backend that crunches webpages to a fraction of its original size, which saves bandwidth and also allows users to enjoy super-fast web surfing.
