Opening of Razer's first concept store draws thousands of fans

On 15th May, Razer launched its first standalone concept store at the Syntrend Creative Park in Taiwan. The opening of the Razerstore drew thousands of fans from Taiwan and abroad, including visitors from the United States, Europe and across Asia, resulting in mall security having to suspend Razer's weekend launch activities due to safety concerns.

The RazerStore is outfitted with ten gaming stations for public use and stocks the full range of Razer’s most advanced gaming products from systems, peripherals and audio products to wearables, software, apparel and gear. Gamers are invited to stay all day and play games at the Razerstore. Presently the setup includes eight Razer Blade gaming laptops with two H440 – Designed by Razer desktop units, as well as a selection of professional-grade Razer headphones, keyboards and mouse surfaces.

Razer plans to host monthly contests and other activities at the store.

“We want to create an environment where gamers can hang out, play games, try our products and essentially enjoy themselves,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “This concept store is about showing gamers the incredible possibilities that come with the right technology and giving them a place where they can engage with each other. We want them to try everything and have a real hands-on, immersive gaming experience.”
