The second smartphone model from OnePlus is finally here!
Officially known as the OnePlus X, the smartphone sports a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage space with microSD expansion up to 128GB, a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,525mAh battery.
Similar to the OnePlus 2, the OnePlus X has the alert slider on its side that allows you to switch between three different notification profiles. It also runs on OxygenOS, the customized Android interface the company developed for its smartphones.
The OnePlus X is available in two models; the Onyx finish with a glass rear panel is priced at INR 16,999 (~S$366) and the limited edition Ceramic model will be more expensive at INR 22,999 (~S$495).
OnePlus will launch the device in Europe and India on 5th November while consumers in the U.S will get it two weeks later. The ceramic model will be available from 24th November. As usual, you will need an invite to purchase the OnePlus X. Here's a quick specs comparison between the OnePlus X and the OnePlus 2:
