If you are not impressed with the current crop of Android flagship smartphones and find them too expensive, you may want to wait five more days to see what OnePlus has to offer.

According to OnePlus, 1st June is the time for change as it looks to "shake up the tech industry". The teaser image shows the OnePlus One on a piece of white paper with an eraser and pencil. The company is likely to be unveiling its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 2.

Bloomberg reported in April that the OnePlus 2 will be launched in Q3 and consumers can expect a cheaper model by the end of the year. The OnePlus 2 is alleged to sport a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 or 4GB RAM and possibly a fingerprint sensor. You can also expect the OnePlus 2 to run on its home-grown mobile platform, the OxygenOS.

The current OnePlus One is a huge success for the company; OnePlus sold nearly a million units of the phone in 2014. We also had a chance to review the phone last year and found it to be a competent, affordable alternative to the mainstream Android flagship smartphones which are more expensive.
