Olympus introduces four new cameras.
The latest addition to the compact SZ 'Super Zoom' Series includes Multi-motion Movie Image Stabilization (Movie IS), which complements its High Definition Movie capability by reducing blur. Equipped with the new Fragmented filter, it features a 24x wide optical zoom and a 14-megapixel sensor.
The entry-level 12-megapixel VG-150 offers a 4x wide optical zoom lens and Digital Image Stabilization. It also comes with a full array of automatic imaging aids like iAuto, Shadow Adjustment Technology and a range of Magic Filters for adding special effects to still photos.
Capable of lighting up faces and objects up to a full 15m away, the top-of-the-range 14-megapixel VG-170 automatically adjusts ISO sensitivity in the Long Flash mode, to make sure it is just right for low light. Other features include a 5x wide optical zoom and a host of automatic effects.
With the addition of the "smart grip", users will find it easier to hold the camera steady when zooming in for a close-up. It also packs a 16-megapixel sensor, a 10x super wide optical zoom lens, higher ISO, and creative effects.
