OCZ Introduces New Vertex 3.20 SSD with 20nm NAND Flash

OCZ Technology has just introduced its new Vertex 3.20 SSD that uses an all-new 20nm process MLC NAND flash memory. The implementation of 20nm NAND chips will help drive costs down in the long run and also help maximize the drives' power efficiency.
Elsewhere, the drive will be paired with LSI's trusted and proven SandForce SF-2200 controller. The drive also utilizes the latest SATA 6Gbps interface for maximum data throughput and performance. At the present, the Vertex 3.20 will only be available in 120GB and 240GB capacities, with 480GB variants to follow shortly. The drives will be backed by a three-year warranty.
In terms of performance, the Vertex 3.20 is certainly competitive to the older Vertex 3 and 4. Sequential read and write numbers are on a par but random performance is noticeably poorer. Here's a table that summarizes the present line-up of Vertex drives from OCZ.
