NVIDA Tegra Zone Now Available on Android Market

As we gear ourselves up for devices powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 2 processors, NVIDIA is also making similar plans. The NVIDIA Tegra Zone app has just been made available on the Android Market. Within, you'll find suggested apps that are optimized for the dual-core processor. As of now, there aren't that many apps available, with some such as Galaxy on Fire 2 still on the way.

GSM Arena - VIDIA announced today that their Tegra Zone application for Android is now official. It nicely coincides with LG announcing that the dual-core Optimus 2X will launch this month. Tegra Zone is an Android app that will offer Tegra 2 users suggestions about games, optimized especially for their dual-core chipset.

For devices, we are expecting quite a number of them powered by NVIDIA's dual-core processsor, some of which includes the LG Optimus 2X, Optimus Pad, and the Motorola Xoom. Based on our estimate, there should be a substantial amount of Tegra 2 optimized apps by the time these devices hit the market. For the full story, click here.
