Nokia N8 with 12-megapixel Camera Sensor Given Hands-On

Nokia has really been lying low for the past few months. As the onslaught of Android devices head our way, the Finnish company is in need of making its presence felt. Doing just that is the Nokia N8, which comes with a 12-megapixel camera and a HDMI output.

Engadget - We heard through the grapevine back at CTIA that Nokia's elusive N8 would be announced somewhere in the wide world this April, and sure enough, it looks as if the handset has popped up over in one of Russia's eleven nine time zones. Our pals at Mobile-Review have worked their magic once more on an up and coming handset, this time landing some serious face time with the planet's first Symbian^3 phone.

However, judging from its estimated release date in Q3 2010, Nokia will find more competition heading their way in the form of more Android devices like the Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Desire, to even the rumored new iPhone and Samsung's bada-powered Wave. In the meantime, here's a quick peek at the Nokia N8, over here.
