Twitter-based evleaks obtained two images of what seemed to be Nokia's upcoming Lumia Windows Phone 8 (WP8) devices.
The Nokia Lumia 920 is alleged to be the new flagship WP8 model from the company. Little details are known about the phone at the moment except for its 4.5-inch display. It is also said to incorporate a PureView camera, which debuted on the 808 PureView at Mobile World Congress 2012. Concept images of Lumia PureView were first leaked from China in April.
Earlier this month, WPDang published images of an unannounced Nokia smartphone, which was later confirmed by Nokia Innovation to be an authentic WP8 device from the Finnish company.
Next up is the Nokia Lumia 820, which sports a smaller 4.3-inch display and Carl Zeiss camera lens. It is codenamed "Arrow" and is supposedly a mid-range smartphone.
Nokia and Microsoft will be holding two joint press events at Nokia World and in New York on the same day, 5th September. Nokia also teases that "something amazing is coming" on a poster in its Finland store. It also released a video on its Windows Phone event, claiming that "things are about to change".
Samsung recently stole the limelight from Nokia by announcing the first WP8 device, the ATIV S at IFA 2012. Judging from Nokia's promotional campaigns, we think that Nokia has some nifty tricks up its sleeves to surprise everyone.
