What do you get when you integrate Nokia's game-changing PureView imaging technology with its Lumia devices? Well, the leaked concept images may provide interesting insights of what to expect from Nokia and Microsoft in the near future.

According to Engadget, the concept images of the Lumia PureView were leaked from China. Its concept hardware revolves around a stocky profile with vibrant colors such as magenta and yellow. In addition, the Lumia PureView device will have the following specs:

  • 4.3-inch curved touchscreen with HD display
  • 41-megapixel camera sensor with Carl Zeiss lens and PureView imaging technology
  • 1080p full HD video recording
  • Dual-core processor with Adreno 320 GPU
  • Windows Phone operating system

As these images are purely just concepts, nobody knows if Nokia will eventually go ahead with them. However, the striking resemblance of the concept device with the upcoming Symbian^3-equipped Nokia 808 PureView indicates a possibility that the company might adopt such design concepts. Furthermore, Nokia has taken a similar market strategy with the Lumia 800, which borrows heavily from the design of the N9.

The Nokia 808 PureView created a stir when it was announced at Mobile World Congress 2012. Nokia basically blew the competition out of the water with its jaw-dropping 41-megapixel camera sensor and PureView imaging technology.
