Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 Available from 8th Dec at $899 and $699 (Update)

Update: The Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 will be available from 8th December onwards at $899 and $699 respectively.

All three operators, M1, SingTel and StarHub, today confirmed that they will sell the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 in Singapore. This will add to the growing list of operators globally selling the Windows Phone 8 devices (to check out the new OS's top 8 features, click here). The Nokia Lumia 920 comes in yellow, red, white and black, while the Nokia Lumia 820 comes in black and white, with other colours offered as out of box accessory covers. Both phones will be available in the pentaband LTE variant, with targeted availability in early-December 2012. Pricing will be announced closer to launch date.

Lumia 920

The Nokia Lumia 920 also comes with Nokia City Lens, the latest addition to the Nokia location suite and the start of a new augmented reality experience that also enhances Nokia Maps.

Lumia 820

  • 4.3 inch ClearBlack OLED WVGA display, 800 x 480 resolution
  • 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor
  • 8-megapixel camera, auto focus with Carl Zeiss optics
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB mass memory with microSD memory card support and 7GB free SkyDrive storage
  • 1650mAh battery with integrated Qi wireless charging

In conjunction with the launch, Nokia Lumia consumers will also be able to purchase a range of wireless Nokia accessories for use with NFC-enabled smartphones, thanks to partnerships with JBL and Monster: 

  • JBL PowerUp Wireless Charging Speaker for Nokia – PowerUp is the world’s first wireless charging docking station speaker, which means it can charge a Nokia Lumia while it’s streaming music. It features NFC and Bluetooth connectivity in retro styling.
     
  • JBL PlayUp Portable Wireless Speaker for Nokia – a portable speaker that uses Bluetooth and NFC to wireless stream music from your Nokia Lumia device.
  • Nokia Purity Pro Wireless Stereo Headset by Monster – a high-definition over-ear stereo Bluetooth headset with active noise cancellation. NFC allows one-tap pairing to play and share music, plus the built-in Dolby Headphone technology inside Nokia Lumia devices creates a spacious sound when paired with the headset.
