Nokia C7 Images Leaked, Sports Symbian^3
Before Meego devices are officially announced, the only thing that Nokia will be showing are its C-series, E-series and X-series devices. After an earlier announcement of its X3 Touch and Type (which sports a touch screen Symbian S40 OS), we are now looking at an image of its upcoming C-series device, the Nokia C7. This leaked Nokia device is reported to be another Symbian^3 device similar to the Nokia N8, but won't be sporting the Carl-Zeiss lens that's saved for its N-series devices.
Engadget - We've yet to see an official announcement for Nokia's all-but-real C7 with Symbian^3, but let's be honest: wouldn't you rather see a few more leaked shots of it posing next to a nip of Chivas Regal anyway? Of course you would, and Chinese site zol.com.cn has your number along with a few thoughts on the device: it's got a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 8 megapixel camera sans Carl Zeiss branding (a nod to the fact that the Nseries will still reign supreme for photography), dual LED flash, and a pretty meager 1,200mAh battery, presumably to keep the shell sexy and slim.
As reported, Nokia's N-series devices will be equipped with its upcoming Meego platform, so it's of no surprise to see its C-series taking over the Symbian helm. Will we see an official unveiling of the Nokia C7 at Nokia World 2010? We'll find out in less than a month. Check out the full story over here.
