Nokia Announces Entry-level Windows Phone, Lumia 510

Nokia has unveiled an entry-level smartphone - the Nokia Lumia 510. Running on the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango platform, the 4-inch mobile device is powered by the Snapdragon S1 processor. Available in five vivid colors, it features the Windows Phone's Live Tiles which makes it easy to see incoming messages and updates, and People's Hub which brings together contacts and updates from across social networks into one location.

With access to Microsoft Office as well as Internet Explorer 9, users can download the Camera Extras app that provides exclusive digital lens functionality, to maximize the 5-megapixel camera and in-built autofocus. Also, Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and Nokia Transport also offer the most comprehensive smartphone location and navigation experience available.

The Nokia Lumia 510 will be available in red, yellow, cyan, white and black, with an estimated price tag of US$199. The smartphone will launch first in India and China in November 2012, followed closely by other APAC countries and South America.
