Nikon COOLPIX P7000 Gets v1.1 Update

Here's one for the shutterbugs. If you wield the Nikon COOLPIX P7000 and are less than pleased with some of its quirks, well, you might want to take heart in Nikon's new firmware update. The version 1.1 patch promises faster NRW (RAW) processing speeds and optimized lens control to reduce the frequency of lens errors. Other improvements include solutions for its cranky zoom operations, as well as blown highlights associated with the shutter-release and Active D Lighting feature.
