Nikon has rolled out four new products worldwide - the Nikon 1 J2, a 1 NIKKOR 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, a waterproof case WP-N1, and the COOLPIX L610.
The latest addition to the Nikon 1 J series comes with Nikon's exclusive compact and lightweight Nikon 1 lens mount. With Advanced hybrid AF system, the camera allows high-speed continuous shooting and enables new imaging experiences with features such as Motion Snapshot and Smart Photo Selector. Also, a new Creative mode has been added to the four original shooting modes.
Equipped with the EXPEED 3 image-processing engine, the Nikon 1 J2 is ideal for compact digital camera users accustomed to portability and want to upgrade to an advanced camera with an interchangeable lens system. A Nikon CX-format compatible 2.5x standard zoom lens, it covers the range of focal lengths from 11-27.5mm (equivalent to 30-74mm in 35mm format). It is approximately 32g lighter and 11mm shorter at maximum length than the 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6.
Compatible with the Nikon 1 J1 and J2, the lightweight WP-N1 has the ability to capture high-resolution still images while recording movies.
Packed with a 16-megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor, the L610 is a 14x optical zoom model from the Coolpix L series that includes lens-shift vibration reduction (VR), Target Finding AF, and is capable of Full HD (1920 x 1080p at 30fps) video recording.
