Apple is widely expected to announce its newest iPhone in a couple of weeks.
And the latest rumor to come out from the rumor mill suggests that the next iPhone will have some sort of fast-charging capability.
According to Twitter user, @the_malignant, the new iPhone will support "at least" 5-volt, 2-amp charging, which should dramatically improve its charging times. The iPhone currently charges at just 1 amp.
Though the current iPhones already charge pretty quickly, they are no match for their latest Android rivals.
Many Android devices have such capabilities now. The new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, for example, can charge from 0% to 50% battery capacity in just 30 minutes.
