Newstead opens five new stores spanning 10,000 square feet at Marina Square

Note:- Updated on 15th June to reflect the revised store opening date.

Newstead Technologies has announced the opening of five new stores at Marina Square Shopping Mall, occupying around 10,000 square feet of space in the mall’s new IT zone. This expansion makes it one of the largest IT retailers within Marina Square, and comes on the eve of the closure of Funan DigitalLife Mall on 30 June.

But the new stores are more than just generic, multi-brand stores like most other Newstead outlets. Instead, four of the five will be concept stores dedicated to individual brands like HP, ASUS, Dell, and Lenovo, which will offer complete selections of their respective computing products.

The HP Concept Store opens first on 20 June 30th June, while the other three will commence operations later on 29 July. The fifth store will actually be a familiar multi-brand affair under Newstead Technologies, and is slated to open on 9 July. All the stores are to be located on Level 2 of the shopping mall.

In order to usher in the opening, roadshows have been scheduled during the periods of 9 to 31 July, and 8 to 14 August, where customers can enjoy a range of promotions, live performances, and activities involving signature products from the various brands that Newstead carries.

Hailing Marina Square’s status as a lifestyle mall, CEO Mindy Tan said that Newstead was proud to be part of the changes taking place at Marina Square as it continues to expand its offerings and become a more attractive destination for shoppers.

In the meantime, we've a fair bit of Funan's closure related sales covered here.
