Leaked photos of new Google Nexus 5 2015 surfaces

That is almost certainly a LG Nexus phone made by Google, but what is that circle below the camera?

Do you recall yesterday's article about the leaked renders of the LG Nexus 5 2015? We now have a proper photo of a mid-production LG Nexus 5 2015, which confirms that the 5.2-inch smartphone with USB Type-C port and Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor, 4GB RAM and a 3,180mAh battery is on its way.

It was this particular Google+ post on the Indonesian Google Nexus community that did the image leak. From the photo alone, we can gather that the red circle found on the barcode sticker comes from the LG logo, and the circle found south of the camera lens could very well be the fingerprint sensor. While no further details are available as of now, the leaked phone image closely resembles the other leaked Nexus phone, made for Huawei. In case you missed it, there’s a video of the Huawei model circulating the web:

And this leaked live video certainly does coincide with earlier, separate reports of Huawei looking to manufacture a 5.7-inch smartphone, whereas the LG leak is in line with the LG headquarter visit by Google engineers for an upcoming joint project codenamed “N000”, which also carried the working title, “Nexus 7”.

According to Android Central, the leak shares similarities with another leaked video render of the LG-owned Nexus made by Google. You can verify the similarities by checking out the artist render here:

We feel that this is a good thing. After all, Google did say they weren’t restocking the 2014 Nexus flagships once they are all gone. Now, we have not one, but two Nexus smartphones on their way.
