A new line of NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics solutions has been announced for the latest leading mobile workstations. The company is introducing aspects of its Kepler architecture to its graphics solutions. From its end consumer graphics cards like the mid-range GeForce GTX 670 series to the recently announced 2nd generation NVIDIA Maximus workstation platform, NVIDIA continues to build on the success it has enjoyed so far with its Kepler GPU architecture.
The new NVIDIA Quadro mobile GPUs feature the Kepler architecture, and offer at least double the number of NVIDIA CUDA cores of previous generations. They are touted to deliver performance gains over their predecessors without additional power requirements. In fact, the new Quadro mobile GPUS have the same power budget as the previous generations.
Designed for engineers, industrial designers, animators, and film & video editors which need to travel with their work, the new mobile lineup includes the NVIDIA Quadro K5000M, Quadro K4000M, Quadro K3000M, Quadro K2000M, Quadro K1000M, and Quadro K500M.
