New MacBook Pro and MacBook Air no longer support Windows 7 with Boot Camp

Apple's newly refreshed MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models no longer support running Windows 7 with Boot Camp. According to Apple's Boot Camp support document, the new notebooks will only work with Windows 8 or later.

For those still wanting to run Windows 7 on their new MacBooks, virtualization software like VMware Fusion and Parallels should continue to work. It is unknown if the new MacBook will support Windows 7 installation, but it seems unlikely.
