Mozilla Targeting End Year Release of Firefox 4

Firefox Director Mike Beltzner recently outlined his plans for the popular web browser Firefox, saying that they hope to release the latest edition of the browser - Firefox 4 - before the end of the year. Firefox 4, he said, will be faster, easier to customize, and will also incorporate new HTML5 technologies for better website support.

Ars Technica - Firefox has grown popular among end users and Web developers alike. For end-users, the work will focus on streamlining the UI: simplifying the browser's interface, making it easier to control the permissions that different sites have, and providing better facilities to personalize and customize the browser.
