When users of Motorola Xoom were giving feedback on problems with Exchange Support after the Android 3.1 update, they were in for a surprise when a supposed Googler commented that an upcoming 3.2 update will come within days to help them with the problems.
This comment was a little unexpected considering the fact that we last heard of Android 3.2 during Huawei MediaPad launch at CommunicAsia 2011. According to Huawei, the Android 3.2 OS is better optimized for use on 7-inch screens. Users are also expected to see improvements in Google Maps and graphics performance.
Android Central - We've heard the rumblings that Android 3.2 might be coming to a Huawei tablet, and that it'd could possibly be a specific version of Honeycomb for that smaller form factor. But might it first hit the Motorola Xoom? It'd make sense, seeing as how the Xoom is the de facto Honeycomb reference device.
It will be interesting to see how the Android 3.2 OS will fare on the Motorola Xoom if it the above comment turns out to be valid. Being the first Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet in the market, it is no surprise that it stands a high chance of getting the update.
