Moto Z2 Play launching in Singapore on 29th July

Motorola announced that its new lineup of Moto smartphones will be launching soon in Singapore, starting with the Z2 Play on 29th July.

Moto ZPlay

The Moto Z2 Play is the followup to last year's Moto Z Play, and features a new all-metal unibody design. The phone boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 2.2GHz octa-core processor. Like its predecessor, the Moto Z2 Play is fully compatible with Motorola's Moto Mods modular system that lets you easily attach and remove different add-ons to the back of the phone via the 16-pin Moto Mods connectors. All Mods that were compatible with the original Z Play are compatible with the Z2 Play and any new mods Motorola releases will also be backwards compatible with the original Z Play.

If you're not interested in Moto Mods, the Moto G5 Plus has a very similar build and features, but without the 16-pin Moto Mod connectors on the back of the device. The phone sports an aluminium finish that’s been diamond cut and bead-blasted, and has a 5.2-inch Full HD LCD display. The phone also boasts a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual Autofocus Pixels, for faster autofocus. A "circular saturn ring" and a large f/1.7 aperture also lets you take sharp, in focus photos even in low light situations.

The Moto G5 Plus will be available on 5th August in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold for S$599.
