Moto X4 leaks show dual cameras and curved display
Moto decided to tease their next upcoming device through @evleaks, a popular smartphone tipster who writes for VentureBeat. Dubbed as the Moto X4, this mid-range device will likely be hitting the market in Q4 2017.
Some context: the Moto X4 likely follows after the Moto X series, which was last released in 2015. Last year, Moto took the time to launch the modular-type Moto Z and Moto Z Play.
According to the leaked image on @evleaks (Twitter), the Moto X4 will likely have a dual rear camera setup, rated at 8-megapixels and 12-megapixels. The front camera will be a 16-megapixel shooter.

His follow-up article on VentureBeat indicated that the Moto X4 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630-tier chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution) display, and 4GB RAM / 64GB internal storage with MicroSD card support. The leak also said that battery will be at 3,000mAh.

Other features include IP68-rated water resistance (which isn’t common on non-flagship smartphones), a fingerprint sensor with gesture support, and Google’s Project Fi (an MVNO subscription service that connects you to the strongest telco signal available, regardless of allegiance – but only available in the U.S.). Other specifications have yet to be confirmed, but the tipster learnt that some of the numbers from previous rumors were incorrect.
