A week after the leak of Sony's 2012 roadmap for mobile devices, more 'sordid' details have emerged. We first saw a low-quality group shot of all the devices lined up next to each other; since then, more details have been spilled about the Sony Xperia U (otherwise known as Sony ST25i Kumquat) and Sony Nypon. The Sony LT21i, codenamed Tapioca, takes the limelight this time with PocketDroid spilling the beans on its specifications. The smartphone, to be released around July, looks set to be a budget friendly Android device that comes with a smaller screen and single-core processor:
Not much more than we already know of the Nypon has been added, but another leaked photo of the alleged 4-inch qHD and 8-megapixel smartphone has surfaced. This time, we get a glance at its slim and curved profile; the latter prominently showcased in a slightly heavy bottom that's reminiscent of earlier HTC Android devices and the latest Galaxy Nexus. The smartphone is set to make its debut in April this year.
Will these phones make their debut at MWC 2012? There's definitely the possibility given their release dates, but hold your horses for now: more will be unveiled by the end of next month.
