Microsoft's New Office Set to Arrive January 29
Rumor has it that Microsoft’s next big Office release, Office 2013, is slated to go on sale as early as tomorrow, January 29. Well, what better way to confirm this than to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth, or rather, from Microsoft’s own website.
Titled ‘Time to 365’, all the page has to say is this:
Coming January 29th
More time to do the things you want.
#timeto365
So there you’ve it. The new Office 365 subscription is set for a public debut on January 29 (we reckon this is U.S. time, so local customers may have to wait for a day or two more). The boxed versions of Office 2013 are also expected to hit store shelves at the same time.
For non-business users, Microsoft has come up with a new plan called Office 365 Home Premium. With an annual subscription fee of US$99.99, Office 365 Home Premium allows you to use Office on up to five PCs or Macs (and five mobile devices) shared among all users in the household.
