Microsoft makes Office 365 ProPlus Benefit available for students and educators in Asia Pacific

Here’s a piece of great news from Microsoft for education institutions using Office 365. More specifically, from now on, eligible institutions across Asia Pacific are able to provide an Office 365 ProPlus subscription (which includes Office apps like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote) to their students, faculty, and staff at no extra costs. Students and teachers who sign up for Office 365 ProPlus will also get 1TB of storage on OneDrive for Business and Office Online, as well as access to full Office on up to five PCs or Macs, and the ability to unlock the editing capabilities of Office apps for iPad.

Anthony Salcito, Microsoft Vice President of Worldwide Education, has this to say about Office 365 ProPlus Benefit:

HP announces Enterprise Services for Office 365

In another piece of Office 365-related news, but this time for enterprises, HP Enterprise Services has announced that it has reached an agreement with Microsoft to offer Office 365 and HP service delivery as one comprehensive enterprise solution.

Called HP Enterprise Services for Office 365, this is a new offering that addresses enterprise needs by combining the capabilities and benefits of Microsoft Office 365 with the global delivery expertise of HP Enterprise Services. This solution includes value-added features enterprises demand from the cloud, such as service accountability, managed service solutions, tightly integrated support processes, and expanded data center location options.
