Microsoft has announced the retail pricing for Windows 8.1. Windows 8.1 will cost S$169, while Windows 8.1 Pro will cost S$289. Upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 8.1 Pro is also possible through the purchase of the Windows 8.1 Pro Pack at S$139. All in all, no real surprise here, since the pricing is inline with the current Windows 8 retail pricing.
Of course, if you’re already running Windows 8 or Windows RT, the OS update is free, and will come via the Windows Store on October 17.
Just last week, Windows 8.1 Enterprise RTM is made available for TechNet and MSDN subscribers; this also includes access for Volume License customers with an active Software Assurance agreement.
