Mi Note 2 to have a curved 2K display, Force Touch and 6GB RAM?

It has been 8 months since we last reported on the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and new information has surfaced on Chinese social networking site Weibo. According to Mobipicker's Chinese sources, the Mi Note 2 will come in three variants.

The first variant is said to have 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and a 5.7-inch Full-HD display. The second variant will see the RAM and internal storage space bumped up to 6GB and 64GB respectively. The third variant reportedly will sport a curved 2K display, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space.

Force Touch may be featured in the second and third variants. Xiaomi could possibly utilize Synaptics' ClearForce technology which allows new touch interactions such as speed scrolling, zoom, gaming, text or photo editing by applying variable force with a finger or stylus.

Other rumored specs include dual 12-megapixel rear cameras for the second and third variants, a 16-megapixel shooter for the standard model, a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or 821 chipset, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and NFC.

As for the pricing, the first model is rumored to cost 2,499 yuan (~S$506 ) while the second model is priced at 2,999 yuan (~S$607 ). The highest end model will have a price tag of 3,499 yuan (~S$708 ).
