Mega Says No to Third Party Indexing?

 Source: Mega-search.me

Kim Dotcom may have wanted to keep his new cloud storage venture on the up and up, but when you hand people 50 GB of free storage there are some who are probably going to use that space for distribution of content they do not have the rights to. A few days after the launch of Mega, Mega-search.me was born. The site serves as a crowd indexing platform for the content stored on Mega.

Unfortunately, all the links on Mega-search.me have vanished and navigating to the URL reveals an empty website with a message in French stating that a script implemented by Mega is responsible for the void. While Kim Dotcom or Mega have made no comment as of yet, it is likely that they might be complying with takedown notices they have received with regards to the content being hosted.

Apparently, even content which you have the legal right to distribute as you please cannot be hosted on the Mega-search.me website at present.
