Manfrotto unveils new BeFree Carbon tripod, specifically tailored to travellers.

As photographers packing for travel, often the one thing we struggle to pack is our tripod. After all, it’s long, bulky and heavy, and there’s only so much we can afford to pack in our luggage. Enter Manfrotto’s BeFree Carbon, an ultra-light, compact and flexible tripod that’s perfect for travelling.

The BeFree folds down to just 40cm.

The quick release system allows you to easily shift between angle inclinations.

Folded down, the BeFree carbon measures only 40 cm (extendable to 142cm), making it easy to fit into any bag. Being made of 100% carbon fiber, the tripod itself measures only 1.1kg, but takes a maximum load of 4kg, making it perfect for small to mid-sized cameras with a medium telephoto lens mounted. The aluminium leg locks allow you to quickly adjust for length, and patented angle selectors allow you to easily adjust the angle of each leg by using a quick release system to select between two inclinations. Meanwhile, the aluminium ball head makes it quick and easy for you to adjust your camera angle.

Manfrotto’s new BeFree Carbon is available now, comes with a carrying bag, a 10-year warranty, and retails for S$525 at retailers island-wide.
