Adobe dropped a major surprise in May when it announced that the next generation of its Creative Suite software will be available only on a subscription basis. That update, which re-brands all of Creative Suite (CS) to Creative Cloud (CC), is now live and available in Singapore.
15 Adobe desktop applications have been updated - including Adobe Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Illustrator CC, Dreamweaver CC and Premiere Pro CC. Besides being updated with new features, the Creative Cloud apps can also store and share files via the Creative Cloud, and tighter integration with social site Behance.
Adobe is marking the introduction of CC with a Create Now roadshow in Singapore on 11th July 2013.
Current Creative Cloud subscribers can download the CC upgrades at no extra cost. Creative Cloud membership for individuals is S$66 per month based on annual membership, existing customers who own CS3 to CS5.5 can get their first year of CC at the discounted rate of S$39 per month. Students and teachers can get CC at S$39 per month.
A Creative Cloud subscription for teams is also available at US$69.99 per month per seat, and includes 100GB of storage and centralized deployment and administration capabilities. Limited-time promotions for CS3 and later customers is also available for the team edition of Creative Cloud.
