macOS High Sierra will be available on 25th September

Apple didn't announce this at its recent event, but it has quietly updated its macOS High Sierra page to say that the latest operating system for Macs will be available on 25th September.

Like previous macOS updates, macOS High Sierra will be available as a free update.

First announced at WWDC, macOS High Sierra features a couple of notable updates.

Perhaps the biggest update is that macOS High Sierra will use an all-new file system called Apple File System (AFS).

AFS uses a 64-bit architecture and was designed to take advantage of the fast performance of SSDs.

macOS High Sierra will also offer native support for HEVC. HEVC compresses video up to 40% more efficiently

macOS High Sierra will also have a new graphics API called Metal 2.

And apps like Photos and Safari will also get new features to enhance usability and performance.

There's too many new features and improvements to list, so hit the link below to check them all out.
