Mac users, get ready for your OS X update. During Apple's quarterly earning calls on 19th July, the company also mentioned that its updated Mac OS X 10.7, otherwise known as Lion, will be launched on 20th July.
OS X Lion will drop in with over 250 new features, sporting a look much like its iOS counterpart. Gestures are the key focus in OS X Lion, and it's an approach towards unifying the experience on Apple's various devices.
Apple stated in their earlier WWDC keynote that it'll only be available from the App Store as an upgrade to Snow Leopard for US$29.99.
Question is, will we also see the refreshed Macbook Air with Intel's Sandy Bridge processors launched alongside OS X Lion? The answer will be quite clear in a matter of hours, when the US time zone crosses over into 20th July.
