We first reported at midday that M1 mobile services were temporarily disrupted due to technical difficulty of one of their customer management servers. Several users experienced service outage and were probably left without a mobile connection for one of the longest periods of downtimes. Half a day without mobile phone connectivity in this day and age is an eternity, almost akin to the loss of electricity.
We finally just got a mail from M1 notifying the media that their mobile services are now progressively being restored to ifs affected users. Note that your recovery mileage may vary from location to location, so cross your fingers and hope it's all normal soon.
