The Lytro camera presented a new direction in digital photography with its ability to re-focus after taking a photo, but disappointed quite a few shutterbugs with its almost non-existent manual controls. But that's set to change with a big update released by Lytro. The update brings the ability to manually set shutter speed and ISO, as well as letting users lock exposure and turn on a Neutral Density filter.
Fret not if you have already bought a Lytro camera as the update is purely software-based so existing Lytro camera owners will get to join in the fun as well. And besides adding manual controls, Lytro has also released two new colors for U.S. models, Seaglass and Moxie Pink.
