Lossless audio streaming service, Tidal, joins Singtel Music platform

Today, Singtel Music adds Tidal to their repertoire of music streaming services. With Tidal’s new partnership in effect, Tidal users on Singtel Music can listen to music through Tidal Premium and Tidal HiFi without using up their mobile data allowance.

“With the addition of Saavn in October and TIDAL now, Singtel Music customers have even more choices for their listening pleasure. We’re not stopping here and will continue adding quality music content to offer the best music streaming experience at great prices, without the data charges,” said Ms. Diana Chen, Vice President of Mobile Marketing, Consumer Singapore, Singtel.

In case you missed it, Singtel Music debuted in February this year. It’s a music streaming service that doesn’t use up your mobile data. At launch, Singtel Music had Spotify, KKBOX, AMPed, and MeRadio on board, which meant that Singtel postpaid subscribers using Singtel Music didn’t need to burn up precious mobile data for song streaming.

Tidal has a catalog of more than 42 million songs with some exclusive titles, such as Beyoncé’s Lemonade album, and Rihanna’s Anti album. Tidal Premium offers 320Kbps audio streaming, and Tidal HiFi offers lossless 1,411Kbps audio. Besides songs, Tidal also has 140,000 music videos and related entertainment content.

Singtel postpaid subscribers can hop onto Tidal Premium at S$7.90 per month (12-month contract) or Tidal HiFi at S$15.90 per month (12-month contract) via Singtel Music. If you don’t want a contracted subscription, Tidal Premium and Tidal HiFi will cost S$9.90 per month and S$19.90 per month respectively, on Singtel Music.
