Whenever a new iPad model is launched, there is almost certainly a flood of third-party keyboard cases. Logitech, a popular accessory maker, plans to set its latest Slim Folio keyboard case apart from the competition with one key feature - battery life.

Logitech proudly claims on its website that the Slim Folio can last up to four years without replacing the two coin cell batteries thanks to a smart power management system. The auto on-off function will turn on the iPad whenever you open the case and put it back to sleep when you close it. Do note that the four-year battery life is based on a two-hour usage per day.

The Slim Folio keyboard case boasts mechanical scissor keys with 1.5mm key travel for a comfortable and responsive typing experience. There is also a row of iOS shortcut keys such as volume control and Siri activation. You can use the case at two different angles for typing and viewing videos. As for protection, the Slim Folio guards the iPad against bumps, scratches and spills with its outer technical fabric and lightweight frame.

Consumers in the U.S can now pre-order the Slim Folio keyboard case for US$99.99 (~S$140).
