Logitech’s latest MX mice comes with seamless, multi-platform control

Logitech’s latest MX mice now welcome their proprietary software, Logitech Flow. It allows the user to control multiple devices at once with one mouse, and it even enables copy-pasting of content between these computers.

Logitech Flow is available on both their travel-friendly MX Anywhere 2S, and the ergonomic MX Master 2S. With the multi-device software, a mouse can control up to three computers seamlessly, allowing the user to move text, images, and files between these devices. The software requires a separate installation, and it can be found at their official website.

Like their predecessors, both mice also pack Darkfield High Precision laser tracking, which allows for tracking on any surface, including glass that’s at least 4mm in thickness. Other returning key features include a speed-adaptive scroll wheel (where clicking the wheel switches the mouse between free and ratcheted scrolling).

According to Logitech, the MX Anywhere 2S and MX Master 2S offer up to a full day’s worth of usage after charging for just three minutes, and a full charge can make the mouse last 70 days, although that’s subjected to usage patterns. Of course, these mice are wireless, hence its battery requirements; they use a USB dongle with 2.4GHz connectivity. Both mice have a maximum DPI of 4,000.

Their key difference lies in their ergonomics – the MX Master 2S is slightly larger and heavier, at 145g, and it boasts an extra thumb wheel on the left that allows for side-to-side scrolling. The MX Anywhere 2S, on the other hand, is narrower and lower at 106g, which makes it more portable than its counterpart.

Both mice will retail in Singapore starting from 9th June 2017 at selected retail outlets, with a recommended retail price of S$129 (MX Anywhere 2S) and S$149 (MX Master 2S).
