Logitech MeetUp is a premium conference webcam that supports 4K

The newly-launched Logitech MeetUp is a conference webcam that’s specially designed for conference video-calling between groups of people. The device is optimized for huddle rooms and small conference rooms.

On the Logitech MeetUp is an Ultra HD 4K Image Sensor – this sensor supports multiple video resolutions, such as HD (720p), Full HD (1080p), and Ultra HD (4K, or 2160p). While the quality of the video call is dependent on your preferred calling app or program, the MeetUp strives to be compatible, nonetheless.

The MeetUp also offers 120° field-of-view (FOV) without any fisheye lens distortion. This is to fit as many people as possible in the same room, so they can be seen on-screen. The three broadside beamforming omnidirectional microphones are huge on voice clarity, and it’s assisted with noise and echo cancellation built right in. To sweeten the deal, these microphones are certified workable with Microsoft Cortona voice command controls.

Mechanically, the Logitech MeetUp has a motorized pan/tilt for its lens, allowing it to expand its FOV to 170° by 105°. The 5X Optical Zoom allows the participants to help in zooming into individuals for emphasis or zooming into text on whiteboards. Finally, the paired remote control for the MeetUp lets you adjust any of these settings without having to fiddle with the conference webcam.

The Logitech MeetUp will be available in July 2017, at a retail price of S$1,529. Below are its system requirements and software compatibility:
