Logitech launches the MX Anywhere 2, its most advanced wireless mobile mouse

In March, Logitech announced the MX Master, which is its newest flagship wireless mouse. While this doesn’t seem to have reached Singapore, the company’s latest wireless mobile mouse, the MX Anywhere 2, has.

In a nutshell, the MX Anywhere 2 is the travel-friendly version of the MX Master. Like its bigger sibling, the MX Anywhere 2 is optimized for both Windows and Mac, and uses Logitech’s Darkfield laser tracking tech, which means you can literally use it on any type of surface, including glass.

The MX Anywhere 2 also has a sculpted design (which looks more forgiving towards left-handers, unlike the MX Master), supports dual wireless connection (using Logitech’s small Pico Unifying receiver or via Bluetooth Smart), and is capable of hyper-fast scrolling. It’s powered by a built-in rechargeable battery that Logitech says is able to last up to two months on a full charge (a one-minute charge provides an hour of use). And with the Logitech Options software, you can do things like adjust scroll wheel and cursor speed, enable gesture button to reproduce either Windows or OS X touch gestures, and reassign the mouse buttons. Unlike the MX Master, the MX Anywhere 2 doesn’t have this wheel at the side that lets you do side-to-side scrolling.

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 wireless mobile mouse will be available in Singapore from July 20, 2015. It’s priced at S$129.
